Brad Foster
Brad serves as a Financial Strategist for McKinley Carter Wealth Services, with nearly 10 years of experience in the investment industry, including 5 years as an analyst on the trading floor at Freddie Mac, honing his knowledge of mortgage-backed securities while simultaneously earning the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst through the CFA Institute, passing all 3 levels on the first attempt.  Read More →

Prior to joining McKinley Carter, Brad also served as an Advisor for a large national brokerage firm, working with individuals, families, and nonprofits to develop and implement customized financial plans. Brad’s deep background in investments makes him a valued member of McKinley Carter’s Investment Strategy Committee.

Brad attended James Madison University and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. Since returning to Charleston, Brad has been actively involved in many social and professional organizations, including serving on the board of directors for the YMCA of Kanawha Valley and Capitol Market.  He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Charleston and a graduate of the Leadership Kanawha Valley program.

Brad and his wife, Robin, have a passion for helping others and working to improve the Charleston community.  In May of 2015, they welcomed their first daughter, Elsie.  He is an avid golfer and enjoys social activities with his friends and family.
